Three men smashed the front window of a marijuana dispensary in Venice Thursday morning and made off with an ATM containing an unknown amount of cash.
Police went about 3:10 a.m. to the business in the 400 block of Lincoln Boulevard and determined three men with hammers had broken the window and made off with the ATM, according to Officer L. Lomeli of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The crooks also got away with marijuana.
A man was detained after police found him in a nearby alley with some of the stolen merchandise. The suspects were all wearing helmets, but a detailed description of the men was not immediately available, Lomeli said.
