It’s not every day police end up arresting a Wookiee.
Ukrainian officials took someone dressed up as the hairy “Star Wars” character Chewbacca into custody on Sunday, NBC News reported.
The person was picked up at a polling station in Odessa for violating election rules and campaigning on voting day.
"Chewbacca" was supporting candidate "Darth Vader," a Sith lord candidate who was running in local elections, NBC News reported.
Police posted a photo of the arrest on Instagram, calling it “nothing unusual.”
Chewbacca's reaction couldn’t be translated from Shyriiwook.
