Firefighters Save Dog With Help From Girl Scouts

A good deed from last year is paying dividends today and a dog’s life is saved. Girl scouts, Hailey and Kiley, donated pet oxygen masks to the Bakersfield Fire Department in California last year. Tuesday morning when firefighters rescued a dog from a burning house, they used the specialized mask to save the little guy. Jack became alert and was then transported to a veterinary hospital where he continues to recover. Jack’s family and the fire department are all grateful for that life-saving gift from two girl scouts.
