Fisherman Rescued From Icy Waters

An ice fisherman has been rescued safely from the icy waters of Lake St. Clair in Michigan. The man fell through the ice about 300 yards from a Department of Natural Resources site on the lake. Firefighters went into the water with wet suits and were able to pull the man to safety. The victim was hypothermic but alert. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
