Deli Robbery Suspect Sought

A car slammed into a crowd of pedestrians in New York’s Times Square at midday on Thursday, killing one person and injuring nearly two dozen more. Police had the driver, Richard Rojas, in custody and were pursuing the theory that he may have been under the influence at the time of the accident. Law enforcement sources said he has a history of psychiatric, drug and alcohol problems.
