Family Dog Stays With Lost Toddler in Woods Until Both Are Found
A 3-year-old Virginia boy is back with his family spending nine hours alone in the woods near his home. Mason Ryan was found at about 3 a.m. on Tuesday. Several hundred people searched for Mason, but it was Banjo, the dog the family saved two years ago, who helped bring the boy home. “He brought my son back,” said Blake Ryan, Mason’s father. “He stayed with him through the woods and didn’t let him out of his sight and let the people know where he was.” Update: Parents William Blake Ryan and Tammy Stowe were arrested for one felony count of child neglect and one misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana, according to NBC affiliate WSLS.
