Miley Cyrus may have raised a few eyebrows when she debuted her video for "Can't Be Tamed," where she's seen sprouting wings and dancing around in a cage – but the teen sensation says she has a fan in her dad Billy Ray Cyrus.
"My dad loves it," Miley recently told MTV News about the video, which dropped last week.
The 17-year-old singer/actress did admit that her dad was skeptical when he first heard her concept for the video.
"I think my dad was like thinking I was a little crazy while I was writing it because when you're hearing, 'feathers coming out of your hands,' it looks crazy!'" she said, explaining that her mom is also a fan of the video.
"They were so proud of the treatment that I came up for it with my good friend Jamal [Sims]," she continued.
Despite a new harder edge for the singer, the "Hannah Montana" star said she's still just being Miley – just now with more feathers!
"It's not trying to not be me…I wanna be myself just in a bird like form. [I'm not] trying to be someone other than me," she said. "The outfit may be different, but what you see in me, is the same you've seen since I was 11 years old."
