RAW: Obama Says Drone Strike that Killed American Hostage Was “Deadly Mistake”

Italian Giovanni Lo Porto and Dr. Warren Weinstein, of Maryland, died in the strike. “It is a cruel and bitter truth that in the fog of generally, and in the fight against terrorists specifically, mistakes — sometimes deadly mistakes — can occur,” Obama said.
