Her new show is "Roseanne's Nuts" and, well, she seems intent on hammering that joke for all its worth.
Appearing last night on "The Tonight Show" comedian Roseanne Barr steered away from promoting her reality show - on which she runs a macadamia farm in Hawaii - to push for the legalization of marijuana and declare her candidacy for president in 2012.
Of course, this isn't the first time Barr has expressed a desire to run the free world.
Last year, on her official blog, Barr wrote:
“I'm tired of watching as men destroy all the world. Everything used to be beautiful when women were in charge, and now I, working as the physical manifestation of the goddess Isis and the reincarnation of Cleopatra, have decided to save the world.”
Barr explained her views on the legalization of marijuana (she is very much for it) and jokingly referred to her potential party as the "Green Tea Party." She also claimed to have one very important skill that puts her above other candidates.
"I definitely want to be in the debates and if I'm not accepted in the debates then I'm just going to photoshop myself in anyway," Barr told Leno. "All you have to do I figure to be president is show up and give a speech. And I'm really good at speeches."
