Senate Votes to Recognize Armenian Genocide

A resolution to recognize as a genocide the mass killings of more than a million Armenians by Ottoman Turks a century ago was passed by the Senate on Thursday. The recognition was blocked three times at the request of the White House but was approved unanimously on its fourth try.
