Teen Starts Own Business

Shannon Trawick, who just turned 13, is the president of Pozy Pressings, a greeting card company she started with characters she created after her grandmother showed her the art of pressed flowers. Trawick first created “Pretty Pozy” and went to a family friend from church for help. They spent four months just setting up her company before opening it for business at www.pozypressings.com. Trawick plans to show off her products at an upcoming holiday boutique show. She says she will take the money and save it for college, but she also wants to help kids with cancer.
