Trump: Impeachment Inquiry Led to al-Baghdadi Raid Secrecy

Pres. Donald Trump says House Democrats’ impeachment probe contributed to his decision to withhold notice to Capitol Hill leaders ahead of the raid on Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. The decision was a break with standard practice. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi accused Trump yesterday of informing the Russians before the Democrats.
