A woman was killed and at least one person injured Saturday in Santa Clarita when a truck rear-ended a car and pushed it into a city bus, authorities said.

It happened at 5:08 p.m. at Golden Valley Road and the Sierra Highway, Lt. Rob Hahnlein of the Santa Clarita Sheriff's Station said.

The woman in the car was pronounced dead at the scene, Hahnlein said. A passenger on the Santa Clarita Transit bus suffered a minor arm injury.
