Police were scouring a South Los Angeles neighborhood for a teen in connection with a shooting that wounded one person Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The shooting was reported just before 4:30 p.m. in the area of 46th Street and Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles Police Department officials said.
One person was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
Officers fanned out across the neighborhood in search of the shooter. Aerial footage captured by NewsChopper4 showed police handcuffing at least three young men or teens outside an apartment building before a group of armed officers entered a ground-level unit.
