4.1-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Ludlow

A 4.1-magnitude quake struck five miles west southwest of Ludlow in San Bernardino County Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The temblor struck about 47 miles southeast of Barstow around 7:32 a.m., USGS said.

Residents in Victorville, Apple Valley, Hesperia and Big  Bear reported they felt the quake on the NBCLA Facebook page.

The quake was originally recorded as a 4.0 and was upgraded by the USGS.

A magnitude 2.8 earthquake struck the same area at 7:17 a.m. A smaller quake with a magnitude of 2.2 also hit the area at 7:35 a.m., according to CalTech.

There were no reports of injuries or damage.
