A magnitude-2.7 earthquake rattled the Seal Beach area Thursday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The temblor struck about 2 p.m., at a depth of 7.5 miles, the USGS said. The magnitude was initially reported as 2.9.
Weak shaking was reported in Long Beach, Cypress, Los Alamitos and Lakewood.
