And the 2018 ESPY goes to...
The sports version of the Oscars was held on Wednesday in Los Angeles as the 26th annual ESPYS took center stage to celebrate the best in the world of sports.
Former pro race car driver Danica Patrick hosted the show from the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles as world-renowned athletes headlined the 2018 Awards as well as presentations from celebrities in the music and entertainment industry.
Entertainers like Kate Beckinsale, Chadwick Boseman, Jennifer Garner, Jon Stewart and rapper G-Eazy will be presenting.
Outside of the typical "Best in Sports" awards, the ESPYS also presented awards to the survivors of the USA Gymnastics sex abuse scandal for the Arthur Ashe Courage Award, former Buffalo Bills Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly received the Jimmy V Award for Perseverence, and Jake Wood received the Pat Tillman Award for Service.
In addition, Marjory StonemanDouglas High School coaches Aaron Feis and Scott Beig who were slain in the Feb. 14 shooting were posthumously awarded the "Best Coach Award."
