LA Rams Ticket Prices Skyrocket Ahead of Home Opener

Los Angeles Rams tickets have skyrocketed ahead of the team's home opener on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.

LOS ANGELES – Hours before the first LA Rams home game at the LA Memorial Coliseum since 1979, ticket prices in the secondary market are soaring.

According to executives for search engine SeatGeek that finds tickets to live events, the average price for Sunday's home opener against the Seattle Seahawks is $245, the most expensive Rams ticket ever on the secondary market since 2010.

For comparison, the most expensive ticket to any game ever played by the St. Louis Rams, who called Edward Jones Stadium their home, was $139 (average price) for a game against the Chicago Bears on November 24, 2013.

If you're unable to afford tickets to the Rams highly anticipated home opener, which also highlights the return to the Coliseum of Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll who coached the USC Trojans to two National Championships during his tenure, then tickets for the remaining six home games are much lower.

At an average price of $192 for the rest of the 2016 season, the cheapest Rams tickets should be available for under $60 according to secondary sites like StubHub and TicketMaster.

The St. Louis Rams ranked last or second to last since 2010 in average ticket prices across the NFL, but now that they are in Tinseltown, Rams tickets are the 11th hottest ticket across all NFL teams and stadiums.

The New England Patriots lead the NFL with an average ticket price of $341 followed by the Seattle Seahawks ($323) and Green Bay Packers ($309).
