Here’s everything to know about the 2025 March Madness women’s Sweet 16 round.

And then there were 16.

The 2025 women’s NCAA Tournament is moving to the Sweet 16 after the field was finalized Monday night.

The last game of the second round saw arguably the top player in the country suffer a season-ending injury. USC star JuJu Watkins reportedly tore her ACL in the No. 1 Trojans' win over No. 9 Mississippi State, sidelining her for the rest of March Madness.

USC advanced to the Sweet 16 along with the three other No. 1 seeds -- top overall seed UCLA, defending champion South Carolina, and Texas.

All No. 2 and No. 3 seeds are dancing into the next round, as well. That includes Hailey Van Lith and No. 2 TCU, who will play the program’s first-ever Sweet 16 game in a showdown against Hannah Hidalgo and No. 3 Notre Dame. And, in another 2-3 matchup, rivals Duke and UNC will square off.

The lowest seed to reach this year's regional semifinal was No. 5, and there are three of them -- Kansas State, Ole Miss and Tennessee. Kansas State, which outlasted No. 4 Kentucky in an overtime thriller, snapped the program's Sweet 16 drought that dated back to 2002.

So, what do all of the Sweet 16 matchups look like? And when will the regional semifinal games be played? Here's what to know:
