Who are the players to watch in Portugal vs. Ghana?
Portugal is coming into this tournament with one of the deepest squads. Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United) will shoulder the goal-scoring responsibility while midfielders like Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) and Bernardo Silva (Manchester City) will have to produce in the middle of the pitch and in the final third. Goalkeeper Diogo Costa (FC Porto) is in the midst of a breakout club campaign and could be a sensation if he starts between the sticks.
For Ghana, it is an inexperienced squad at the international level, but they have the players to be a darkhorse team if the stars align in the Black Stars' favor. Thomas Partey (Arsenal) is one of the best holding midfielders in the sport, Iñaki Williams (Athletic Club) is a workhorse as a No. 9 and Mohammed Kudus (Ajax) and Kamaldeen Sulemana (Rennes) are two potential breakout youngsters who also play up top.
