Seven Displaced After Fire Engulfs Apartment in Sun Valley

No injuries reported in fire that took 40 firefighters about 20 minutes to confine

Seven people were displaced Sunday after an early morning fire broke out in an apartment in Sun Valley, fire officials said.

Crews responded to a two-story building in the 12000 block of West Roscoe Boulevard at around 12:30 a.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department officials said.

Officials said multiple children were displaced due to the fire.

According to LAFD, 40 firefighters worked for 23 minutes to confine the fire.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, official said.
