Two teenagers have been booked for allegedly conspiring to commit murder on a Rancho Cucamonga school campus.
The threats over a possible shooting at Los Osos High School had circulated through social media over the weekend.
The 14-year-olds, who have not been identified, were taken into custody Monday, a San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department spokesman said.
School resource officer Deputy Melinda Young talked with 27 students and 2 faculty members about rumors surrounding a shooting on campus.
Eventually she found text messages on a phone belonging to a student, and arrested the two teens.
Both juveniles were booked into San Bernardino Juvenile Hall for conspiracy to commit murder.
