There's a creeptacular new addition to Universal Studios Hollywood, and it's the stuff of any horror buffs dreams - or nightmares, if you will.
Located on the studios' backlot, park-goers brave enough to endure the Studio Tour can now feast their eyes upon the Monster Mural.
The mural was spray-painted by famed street artist, Tristan Eaton, who's best known for creating posters used in Barack Obama's 2008 Presidential campaign.
Despite setbacks due to the rain, he was able to finish the mural in five weeks total.
"First and foremost it's a nod to the legacy we have," said David Valdez, Manager of Guide Training & Development at Universal Studios Hollywood. "Because Universal is the studio that invented the horror movie genre."

Eaton spent time in the Universal Studios' archives library to study original movie posters before deciding on Franstein's monster, the Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula, the Wolfman, and the Creature for the Black Lagoon.
The giant Monster Mural is located steps away from the actual production sets where the horror movies were filmed. It can be seen on the Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood, as part of the theme park admission ticket price. Although it should be noted, since the lot is full of live working movie sets, access to the mural is not guaranteed.
