Alzheimer's Greater Los Angeles’ mission is to improve the lives of local families affected by Alzheimer’s/dementia by increasing awareness, delivering effective programs/services, providing compassionate support, advocating for quality care and a cure, and supporting local research. 100% of all money raised stays local, allowing us to provide free programs and services to the community we serve in Greater Los Angeles and the Inland Empire.
We are seeking volunteers to facilitate our Memories in the Making fine arts program across Greater Los Angeles and the Inland Empire. As a Memories in the Making (MiM) facilitator, you will work with people with Alzheimer’s or other dementias. Training on how to facilitate this incredible program is provided for free, as well as education on dementia. No artistic experience necessary. To volunteer, click here.
