The Bolsa Chica Conservancy is a private non-profit organization that works out of the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve in Huntington Beach. The Conservancy provides services to inspire and connect all generations through community involvement and leadership in hands-on restoration and education in wetland science, watersheds, coastal ecology and environmental sustainability.
Join us this breeding season at the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve in Huntington Beach. Volunteers will observe nesting behaviors of the endangered California Least Tern and threatened western Snowy Plover. Monitors must first attend one of the training sessions listed to be assigned a weekly 2-hour shift from April to August. To volunteer, click here.
