Stray Cat Alliance’s life-saving programs work with the community primarily in South Los Angeles to keep cats and kittens spayed and neutered, and out of the shelter. We provide information and resources to the community and empower them to foster and care for cats and kittens with our support. We believe all cats should be safe, healthy and valued.
We are saving so many lives, over 1,200 just in 2017, and of that amount over 550 kittens saved from the South LA shelter. Our headquarters temporarily houses cats and kittens who are in transition to a foster, are being treated for medical issues, being socialized etc. Our small staff is not set-up to care for so many and we rely on the help of volunteers to do everything from feeding, cuddling to laundry.
