Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County serves over 1,500 youth and their families. Our one-to-one mentorship services help at-risk children improve their outlook and reach their potential. Our services are professionally supported and continuously developed around research-driven, measurable results: the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring model is recognized as an evidence-based approach to prevent youth delinquency. National research has shown that positive relationships between Bigs and Littles have a direct impact on childrens’ lives and the surrounding community.

There are nearly 200 children in Ventura County waiting for a Big Brother or a Big Sister. Many live in away-from-home placements like foster care and the majority are from low-income families. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County’s one-to-one mentorship program helps at-risk children beat the odds and reach their full potential. Our goal is to provide a mentor to every child who needs or wants one. Are you ready to #StartSomething BIG? Call today about becoming a mentor to a child who’s waiting for you!
