Children’s Institute, Inc. (CII) is one of the oldest and largest children’s service agencies in Los Angeles, serving the community for more than 100 years. Our mission is to help children Recover from trauma, build Resilience to overcome adversity and become Ready for success in school, work and life.
CII provides early childhood education, counseling services, family support and youth development programs to tens of thousands of children and families across Los Angeles County. You can make a difference in the life of a child by volunteering in one or more of our programs. We are in need of volunteers to assist in our preschool classrooms, tutors to assist with math, reading and language support for elementary school students, and assistants in our youth development programs, which provide enrichment activities such as sports, art, nutrition and wellness.
