City Cracks Down on Hollywood “Talent Scams”

The LA City Attorney alleges that a woman violated the “Talent Scam Prevention Act” by collecting $10,000 a month in upfront management fees from the family of an aspiring singer, 19, whom she had solicited in a hair salon.
