Covered California: Preventive Services for Children

Keeping your kids healthy is going to get less expensive beginning January 1st. The Affordable Care Act requires that all health insurance policies provide more than two dozen preventive services for children. This is exciting news for Rebecca Sagory who makes sure her 4-year old never misses a doctor’s appointment. Dr. Bruce Hensel reports for NBC4 News at 5 p.m. on Sept. 24, 2013.
