CA Slaughter House Shuttered For “Several Humane Handling Violations”
A Central Valley slaughterhouse is closed following allegations from an animal advocacy group, claiming the company grossly mistreated cows before slaughter. California burger chain In-N-Out purchased meat from the company and has since severed ties after the abuse allegations. The plant may have supplied beef to the California Department of Education.
