Illegal fireworks light up the night sky in downtown LA

Fireworks were set off illegally on Sunday night at approximately 10:45 p.m. in a parking lot across the street of the Roybal Federal Building and Courthouse. LAPD officers say it was a planned incident, though there was no authorized firework show. Ted Chen reports for the NBC4 News on Jan. 22, 2024.
