LA City Workers Stage Sickout During Labor Dispute

Tree-trimmers, trash collectors, transit officers and many Los Angeles city workers didn’t show up for work Wednesday. The union that represents them is locked in labor negotiations and some workers are fed up. The standoff could affect services in your neighborhood.
