LA Sheriff Sued for $10M Over Deputy Shooting

A $10 million lawsuit filed by the family of Carlos Oliva claims that the deputy who fatally shot the 23 year old last year did so without proper cause. The deputy has been involved in seven shootings during his time with the department. Ted Chen reports from downtown LA for the NBC4 News at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014.
