Fire Burns Almost Century-Old Flower Shop in Pico

A fire erupted at a flower shop in Pico early morning Monday, June 27, 2016. Firefighters arrived and found flames shooting through the roof of the shop. No one was inside the building when the blaze erupted. About 75 firefighters battled the flames, which was knocked down shortly after 4 a.m. Crews continued to monitor hot spots and clean up the mess into the morning. The shop had been open since 1929.
