Calif. County Has Trend of Trying Juveniles as Adults

In California, there has been a trend in the last decade to try more and more juveniles as adults, especially when they are accused of serious crimes, like murder. Skylor Atilano, 16, will be charged with the murder of his half brother Terry Smith, 11, and a hearing next week will decide whether he is tried as an adult or juvenile.
