San Bernardino Copes with Triple-Digit Heat
San Bernardino schools have modified their schedules, suspending outdoor recess until the heat wave subsides. Postal workers, whose trucks don’t have air conditioning, are lathering up with sunscreen to beat the sweltering sun. Temperatures soared to 113 degrees and warmer in some areas.
