Shoes That Fit provides new athletic shoes to children in need so they can attend school in comfort and with dignity, better prepared to learn and play. Schools tell us that students participating in the Shoes That Fit program attend school more regularly, interact more with their peers, and participate in physical activities. Most of all, they know that someone noticed them and cared enough to make a difference.
In almost every community, there are children heading to school with shoes that are too small or large, torn or just inappropriate--or worse, not going to school at all since they are sharing shoes with a sibling or grandparent!. Shoes are one of the most expensive necessities for low-income families. To volunteer, click here.
