New legislation was heard in Sacramento this past week trying to make charter bus travel safer. SB 247 is due to the April 2014 head-on crash between a charter bus and a Fed Ex delivery truck that left 10 people dead and 39 injured. NBC4’s Conan Nolan talks to Santiago Calderon, one of the student survivors who is now an activist for bus and truck safety and his attorney Geoffrey Wells…both pushing for the new law.
