Ventura County Animal Services (VCAS) operates two shelters within the county. The large main shelter in Camarillo houses over 400 pets and the administrative offices. Our smaller facility in Simi Valley houses nearly 40 pets at a time.
We need volunteer to help walk dogs, run enrichment programs, help with kennel maintenance and answer pet-related questions. We also need Volunteers to share our stories on Social Media so people know about the fabulous pets in our care. To volunteer, click here.
