Authorities made two arrests in Chatsworth Thursday connected to an armed jewelry robbery in Arcadia.

A well-traveled bear who was captured weeks ago the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains turned up early Tuesday in an industrial business area of Chatsworth and camped out on the branch of a tree near homes and businesses.

“Firefighters got a line in place in a defensive position to knock back the bulk of the flames to provide LAPD the room to conduct their operation,” the LAFD said in a statement.
