Police dismantled part of a protest encampment on the UCLA campus and took several people into custody early Thursday morning after an overnight standoff with protesters.

Workers were seen breaking down wooden barricades used by pro-Palestinian protesters at UCLA as a large number of police officers are guarding the area. NBC Los Angeles’ Michelle Valles reports.
