Blaze Pizza at the Glendale Galleria will give away 11-inch pizzas on Jan. 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; there are four choices on the complimentary menu for first responders, including Pepperoni and Herbivore. UPDATE: Several Blaze Pizza locations will participate in the first responder giveaway through Sunday, Jan. 12; a free drink is included.
First responders may enjoy free pizza at Roberta's Pizza in Culver City and Studio City.
Mountain Mike's Pizza in Pasadena is offering free meals for first responders in uniform.
Fat Sal's Deli is treating first responders to a meal in Encino, Westwood, and other locations; restaurant-loving Infatuation LA has a list of more restaurants offering complimentary meals on this page.
Octavia's Bookshelf, a Pasadena bookstore named in honor of author Octavia Butler, who called both Pasadena and Altadena home, will has free wi-fi if needed, as well as a place to charge your phone.
The store also has a few blankets to give as well. Update: The bookstore now has many donated supplies to share; check social media for hours and details.
All Shake Shack locations will have a free Shackburger for first responders through Jan. 12.
Crustacean Beverly Hills is the place for a complimentary bowl of Mama's pho or garlic noodles; the kind offer is open to those displaced by the fires and first responders. The restaurant can also give food and supplies to local shelters, please contact the eatery for more information.
Rock & Brews in El Segundo and Redondo Beach is treating EMTs, police officers, and firefighters to free pizza (one per customer).
Ladyhawk Restaurant in West Hollywood "will be donating 10% of all sales" through Jan. 16 to the LAFD National Wildlife Emergency Fund.
And Julienne Fine Foods and Celebrations, the San Marino marketplace and restaurant, is open Jan. 9. "Free Hugs!!" are promised, as well as a place to find food, community, and comfort.
